Americans Got "Chains" Not "Change"

"Sooner or later the American people will
wake up. The longer it takes, the fewer
options they will have and the more violent
their reaction will be".

I fear it may be too late for some.

While Congress and the public have been obsessed with the 'Spendulus Bill', three things have occurred that should make every gun owner fearful. The items are H.R. 45 introduction, confirmation of Eric Holder as Attorney General and the government medical records data base that is mandated in the stimulus bill. Let me explain. Gun ownership rights are under 'stealth' attack.

OMG......... I put this post on 2 OTHER blogs i post on............ And the UPROAR was incredible....... Boy did it ruffle feather's.. Here are the comments i received....... In no particular order.

Response from Blogger #1
i don't know - when i hear people like rush limbaugh, and who ever authored your piece here say things like 'i hope obama fails' and they fail to see that it brings down us all - when i see silly things like 'this is socialism' yet the socialistic party hasn't embraced it - and when i think gee - this prediction of failure comes . . .less than 30 days into the new administration - well . . .its easy just to laugh and think . . ."whatever
oh, and for the record, i completely support legalized abortions - mostly on the premise that you can not legislate morality and i am no more willing to force someone to have an abortion than i am willing to force someone to be pregnant - and the reason we do still have legal abortions is because 70% of people "polled" are against abortions, the rest of us just keep our mouth shut and don't worry about what you want to do with your body . . .right up til you start fuckin with ours.

THEN SHE HAS THE AUDACITY TO PUT UP ON HER BLOG THE FOLLOWING.......

"Hope Day 26!

my thought for the day for republicans . . . "sit the hell down and shut the fuck up."

i feel better now."

This is the same person, that i quoted on a previous blog. How smug she was, and how she bashed GWB on his way out as Obama took office....... Incredible, how when the truth smacks them in the face they turn to ugly insults instead of intelligent banter... We are in for a rough ride!!!

We can see some of Americans are still drinking the KoolAid.....

On my second blog i got this reply.........

"I am not really going to get into an argument here. I try to avoid political arguments. There are points you made that I agree with, and points I don't. However, I did skip a good portion of this. Not because I needed to "stick my head in the sand," or basically play ignorance, but because I do not agree with some of what you said.

Please do me one favor. While you did quote certain statistics from polls, please try to avoid the words "most, all, and majority" unless you CAN quote sources. It is an unfair generalization. As I said, I agree with some of what you wrote, but not all of it.

I will make one point. You say that 70% of the population is against abortion. I think the poll you got this from does not show the whole truth on this subject. I, myself, could never have an abortion. However, I am not everyone else, and I do not feel I have the right to make that decision for someone else. I do not think it is fair that, if someone was brutally raped and got pregnant from it, that she must carry that child to term. Her torment would be enough from the rape, living with a constant reminder of that for the better part of 10 months would be torture. Could I get an abortion in that situation? I don't know. But it is not my right to make that decision for someone else. If abortion becomes illegal, women will find other ways to do it, it will still happen, without it being punished. I think that 70% probably includes a certain percentage of people like me, but the scope of the poll was too narrow to show that. Polls are set up to get the answers the poll-taker wants. I do not trust them. If they call every person in this country, ask their honest opinion about a subject, and then put out the results, I might believe that poll. Until that happens, they are biased and untrustworthy.

I love your blogs, generally. I just can't do the political ones well. Our ideals about this country vary in ways that aggravate me, and I am sure would do the same to you, as you are quite obviously very strong in your beliefs (which is great, I am glad, stick with it). It is our right as Americans to disagree, and I think when it comes to politics, we are just going to have to agree to disagree. "

Ok, I can agree to disagree, that is the American way right?.......... But admitting you didn't read the whole post is "absolutely" saying....... "My head is in the sand, and I don't want to know anything else other then what they have fed me with a firehose.......... This scares me to death........

This was a great post and i wanted to pass it along and see what other's would think on the more "liberal" blogs i visit from time to time. I found it funny... And scary at the same time.

Sorry for the long comment.......... But i thought you would enjoy the comments from the LEFT, and see where most are STILL coming from.

Shakes my head in disbelief.
