State Rep. Randy Terrill, known for his tough stance against crime, criticized the district attorney.

"This charge is absolutely wrong, wrong, wrong," he said. "It is Monday morning quarterbacking at its worst. It gives more deference to armed robbers than to the man acting in self-defense."

I am a card carrying member of the NRA, and a strong believer in our 2nd Amendment and deadly force when necessary to defend one's home or business. However, the above statement is misleading, at best, or pure idiocy at worst.

It is totally unacceptable to shoot someone to death if they are no longer posing a threat.
