King N.C. residents were furious over a state
of emergency declaration that restricted sales
of alcohol and the carrying of firearms in
vehicles. State Statute 14-288.7. makes trans-
porting a weapon or substance illegal during
an emergency. I say the suspension of the
constitution during an emergency is unacceptable
and this statute needs revision...more
