With the Daytona 500 quickly approaching, it's been an interesting seven days in NASCAR. What was the grounds of their dismissal?
My opinion is Gordon lost the fire with his new baby. That's fine, but not a reason to fire the whole pit crew. Just my .02. I am not a fan, but I did meet him in Kansas two years ago, and he was a nice guy. Tony Stewart on the other hand... Now he is the teammate of my favorite driver, Ryan Newman.
By the way, for the last two days, I noticed a green Saturn in Springfield, MO, with Rusty Wallace stickers plastered all over the rear windshield and underneath an Obama sticker. How can you be a NASCAR fan and vote for Obama, who's outlawing CO2. He threatens the sport. Anyone with common sense should know that.
Here's to Daytona! I can't wait.
