I'm not surprised by this since it's in IL. My husband has family there and from what he's explained to me, if you cross over into Indiana it's a whole different story. Something in the water in IL, perhaps? ;-)
What a shame. I really feel for that teacher. Situations like that are exactly why I have not become a professional teacher like I dreamed of doing as a child. I homeschool(ed) and many people have commented to me that I should teach in the school system. I don't think my blood pressure could handle situations like this, though.
Yeah, that pretty much pisses me off. Just about like 95% of everything else I read and see about taking away rights and freedoms. Keep up the good work on this blog.

If you get the chance go to wnd.com & check out the article about active military members joining Oath-Keepers. They are pledging to defy any orders from the government to disarm American civilians at any time.
I'm still mad as hell, but I do feel better knowing that most of our military understands that their oath is to protect the Constitution & not the whims of the usurper in chief!
Also if you can get your hands on the latest issue of "America's First Freedom," check out the article about the new Regulatory Czar appointed by the one who thinks he's president. Scary stuff!!!
