First off, we (the USA) isn't a democrocy -- but a Republic.
The left are giving up the idea of democrocy for it was only a stepping stone for them toward the US being an Oligarchy. That is their end game.
Go from majority rule, to committee rule. Instead of rule of law ergo a Republic.
